Balllintubber 3-11, 1-17 Mayo Gaels
Ballintubber and Mayo Gaels played out an entertaining draw in this keenly contested game played in Mayo Abbey on Tuesday evening.
The game was tight throughout with the lead changing hands on numerous occasions. Ballintubber lead bo 2 points at half time 1-10 to 1-8 but Mayo Gaels came out for the second half and upped thier performance to push ahead early in the second half. But the Tubber lads show great determination to fight back and went ahead in the final couple of minutes only for Mayo Gaels to equalise as the final whistle approached.
Bobby Reilly was on fire for Ballintubber finishing with a tally of 2-5!
