Club Sponsors

On behalf of Ballintubber G.A.A Club we wish to extend deep thanks to our long standing Club Sponsor, Michael Corrigan and his wife Mary for their ongoing generosity to the Club. The Management & staff of Breaffy house Hotel are also worthy of the highest praise since coming on board last season as club sponsors. Deep thanks also to our business Gold Patron Scheme members and our Club Benefactors. Without your help we could not have achieved all we have in the past five years. Thanks also to those who have come forward for the past three years at County Final time and helped us kit out our teams. Your help was hugely appreciated.

Sincere thanks to the people in the Communities of Ballyglass, Carnacon, Clogher, Ballintubber, Errew, and Killawalla for the tremendous financial support being received through the Gold Patron Scheme and the yearly and weekly lotto. We are greatly heartened by the response from around the Parish to all the events we organise, the recent Strictly Come Dancing event in The Arena in Breaffy House, with an audience of 1,500 approx. a prime example of that.

Thanks to Martin Burke, County Dry Cleaners. If Martin had a €1 for every jersey he has cleaned down the years, he would be a millionaire! Deep gratitude is also due to all the Publicans who host the weekly lotto and to local businesses that have always been generous with their support. We urge everyone to support them in every way possible in return. That is what bonds the Parish, the Club and Community together and long may it continue.

The people in our Parish and environs have been extremely generous and willing to contribute to our magnificent facilities, which will benefit all the community for many years to come. It gladdens the heart and tells us that as a community we do place huge value on voluntary effort and in bettering our quality of life.

In the present difficult economic times, with unemployment, emigration, and difficult farming circumstances, you have shown that in our Parish and community the old spirit of the “Meitheal” is truly alive. Thanks to all of you, the legacy we leave is in passing on top class sporting and leisure facilities to those who will come after us and also a pride in our home place and high standards on the Gaelic football fields.
